i sold my car and the person wants to return it for a refund?
I sold my 1994 mustang to a lady, and I explained to the best of my knowledge all the flaws of the vehicle. I was selling the car for $2000.00, but sold it for $1800.00. She gave me $1600.00, and signed a promise to pay within 2 weeks. She also signed a bill of sale stating she understands the flaws of the car and understands the car is being sold AS-IS. 3 days later, she phones me and threatens to take me to small claims court if I don’t return her money and take my car back. I told her legally I don’t have to and the next day I get a small claims filed against me stating that I owe her $1600.00 that was due on the date prior and that it was for merchandise. I filed a counter-claim for the amount that she still owes me, but i’m having problems getting her served. My question is, does she have a leg to stand on in court? Because last time I checked, if a private party sells their car AS-IS and that other party signs a paper agreeing, that car is no longer the sellers problem. Is this correct? What should I do to be better prepared? And should I hire an attorney?

I have a bill of sale that says that the seller of an automobile would pay for the repair of a radiator if his repair did not hold up. by the time that the purchase was finalized he still had not repaired the radiator. Now he says that he will not pay for the replacement of the radiator and is not answering my calls. He also has yet to sign the title over although I have made payment and I have the car. what are my options?

Sale of a vehicle
I sold my truck about 5 months ago (I believe it was in June or July). During the process I have stated that the truck was previously damaged and has been fixed to the buyer.
He took it to his mechanic and proceed with the transactions.
We finalized the transaction and I wrote a Bill of Sale stating that the truck was sold AS IS with no warranty and also the previous damage was mentioned. Two days ago, the buyer left me a ”threatening” message to have his attorney call me, etc, and said that he received his registration (6 month later?) and the title was showing Total Reconstructed. He sounded very upset.
I did not know how to react. I thought I was very honest and showing good intention by going to a great detail explaining about the damage, and let him check the truck to his own mechanic.
What do I have to do, why did it take almost 6 months for him to bring it back into my attention?
Please advise me.

Thank you for your help and time.

Paying for parents house without trust or contract
I entered into a verbal agreement with my parents to purchase a house. My Parents put 30K down and refinanced their own home to purchase this house with cash. I make the mortgage payment in the form of rent but do not have a rental agreement. They have verbally (email) stated that I am purchasing the house and they are the bank, again no contract. The house is not held in a trust and I have two other siblings. My parents have other property that is held in a trust but have failed to record the property I’m living in to the trust. At the moment I do not qualify for a bank loan to purchase the house. What would be the best way to secure the property and not have to worry about probate or income tax consequences? contract for deed, deed gift, irrevocable trust, I’m not sure what I should persue to make sure that I will still be able to keep the house in the event of their passing. My parents live in California, I live in Washington, the house in question is located in Washington.

house rental agreement
We rented a house for 2 years in WA during a professional training period. Our lease agreement says we should pay 75% of utilities and the landlord 25% because she has an extra unit attached to the house. We returned a month ago to Israel and now she’s angry about several issues in the house, took most of the security deposit and does not want to pay her part in the utilities. When we talk to her she’s aggressive and frankly a bit odd. How can we defend ourselves from Israel?
