trust fund
My elderly mother is selling her home in Washington state to live with me in Colorado. Can her money be put in some kind of account that can be secured for her? My brother has power of attorney and my sister and I feel he and his family will deplete her money if he puts his name on her account. She does have a will and we are all to recieve equal amounts. She is also losing her memory, so we are very concerned about what we can do before closing.

What legal documents do teens need
For a senior decisions class, what legal documents should high school seniors (18+) consider? I’m thinking will, health care directive, etc. – we’re preparing them for the real world (or trying to) and want to cover the basics. Have already provided material from King County Bar Asso., but there’s no mention of personal documents. Thanks

probate law state of Washington
Grandaughter was appt by court as personal representative. Son was not able to attend meeting because of late notice. Looks like this is going to litigation. How do we get her removed and the son appointed. She left a hand written will appointing her son as executor but was found after she had herself appt. Real bad communication between personal rep and her son. Not paying bills due like mobile home rent, taxes etc. Her mobile was to have gone to her son but personal rep is doing everything to avoid this. Mobile is now under a 360 notice to quit or sell. Help son has been left with nothing of personal value or heirlooms at all.

employee gives 2 weeks notice to quit
If an employee gives his employer a two-weeks notice that he is quitting, is the employer obligated in any way (legally or financially or otherwise) to keep the employee on the job for 2 weeks, or can the employment be terminated anytime? fyi, i’m asking this under the scenario of an ”at-will” employment relationship where either party can terminate the employment for any reason and at any time.
