Collections
I had a judgment against me in 2/2002. I was evicted after a pay cut due to 9/11. I deposited the rent & late charges with the court cashier prior to entering the court room. I was ordered to pay attorney fees and court costs totaling $605. I had a $400 security deposit with the rental company and then paid $260 by check which totals $660. The problem, the rental company combined the court judgment with the move-out expenses. They refuse to enter a satisfaction of judgment until all expenses are paid. The judgment does not include move-out charges or interest. I am in collections now and they are charging interest not covered by the rental agreement or judgment. I am also disputing the move-out charges due to obvious billing errors. I don’t know what to do now since the collection agency is now ignoring me after they were provided proof.

Power of Attorney A has given B General Durable Power of Attorney.

Power of Attorney
A has given B General Durable Power of Attorney. From a stroke A could not physically sign due to the effects of the stroke. The Power Of Attorney has been used by B after that incident. Now A (being of sound mind all the time) wants to change the Power of Attorney to include other signee’s in case B is not capable in the future.
Is this possible. Somebody said one cannot change it since B has used it to sign documents for A.
Also A has a living will. Does B have the power to make decicions contrary to the living will?

Minor child
My Daughter is divorsed with a minor child, her ex-husband is in & out of Jail on a regular basis and is not paying child support, but has visitation rights only, according to the divorse papers. My question is : if something should happen to my daughter to where she would not be able to care for her child , who would get custody of her child? (my granddaughter), and what steps if any can we take to make sure that I get custody and not the natural father,? (who by the way hasnt seen her since she was 4 months old ,she is now 2 1/2) would it be a will, living will, or power of attorney or a combination of them all?
