Power of Attorney with Will
Hi — My husband and I have reciprocal Wills and Unlimited Powers of Attorney in Virginia. Do the Powers of Attorney basically act the same as a Living Will or do we need the Living Wills as well? There are no minor children involved — just the two of us. Thanks so much for your time!

My grandmother died 7 years ago and her estate has still not been settled.

My grandmother died 7 years ago and her estate has still not been settled. My mother died 7 years ago as well, but before my grandmoter. Since my grandmothers will was not changed, my sister and I became the beneficiaries of my mothers portion. My aunt is the power of attorney and was the maker of the living will. The other party involved is my uncle. My aunt and uncle arent getting along which is why the estate has never been settled. We are worried my aunt has spent all the money and the estate will never be settled. Any advice on who to call or what to do to get the estate closed.

Dual Residence Will
Hello, If you have a dual residence (UT and CA) do you need to have 2 wills and Power of Attorney paperwork? Can Utah forms for Will and Power of Attomey be notorized in CA? One other quick question. Can the designated Special Power of Attorney (for health matters) overrule Health Care Instructions designated in a living will?
Thank you!
