I sold a house land contract person moved he made down payment and has not paid in two months. I did not file the land contract with the court. Can i just evict or do I have to file a notice of forclosure first. Thank you in ad

I have a 12 month rental lease that is up in march 2008. I also have a written legal agreement that the home owner will sell me the house once at last a 12 month lease is done. We just found out the house is in foreclosure and the landlord has not been using our money to pay the mortgage. What type of rights do I have and what can we do? By the time our lease is up, the house may already have gone to Sheriff’s auction. We cannot purchase the house until after the 12 months and was very upfront with the landlord about the time frame needed in which to purchase. Please help. Also the landlord did not notify us of the foreclosure or that he wasnt paying the mortgage. We found out by mail and did our own research.

my landlord will not allow me to move since i lost my job and cant afford it anylonger ,how can i move but yet not be responsible,for the remainder of the lease?
