Add Name to Account w/o Notifying POA
My Dad has Power of Attorney over my Grandfather for the past 5 years. Recently my Aunt has added her name to my Grandfather’s account and has also gotten a debit card in my Grandfather’s name. Can the bank do this without the approval of the Power of Attorney?

How to view Power of Attorney over a family member
My grandmother was put in an assisted living home and when we questioned a family member of how she was put their. She refused to answer any questions. She simply stated that she had Power of Attorney and if anyone tried to take my grandmother back home she would have legal action taken against us.When asked what happened to my grandmothers home and land we were told that it was signed over to the home. The home says they didn’t take it that Medicad would have requested that she sell down to only 2,000 in total assests. How can we see if their truly is Power of Attorney and what my grandmothers rights are?She keeps asking if her home has been sold and why cant she go back home?Is their a way to view Power of Attorney.Thank you for your help.

Notice to quit tenancy
The apartments where I live had decided not to renew my year to year lease. They did not give me any type of notice. My lease automatically goes month to month. I had not realized th lease expired on April 1, 05 until the end of April when they put a notice on my door that I owed them an additional $185.00. When I contacted their office, I was told I owe the month to month rate. When I requested to renew the lease they told me they were not going to renew and then posted a notice on my door May 6th that I needed to vacate by June 4th. On June 3rd I notified them that I needed an additional week, they accepted my payment for 1 week. On June 10, they were told again that I was having difficulties finding another place and needed an additional week. They accepted my rent. They have now posted a notice on my door that I must be out by June 18th or they will file court papers. My question is since they have been accepting my rent after the agreement had ended, do they have to give me another notice ? If so, how much ? I am not trying to be difficult, I had an option and it fell through at the last minute and I am back to square one and need a little more time. Thanks for your time.
