Writ of restitution
Working through the district court, I obtained a writ of restitution against a tenant who has not paid rent for over 6 months. The tenant has filed an appeal in the circuit court. Where does this leave me? How long can a tenant, who has obviously not made rental payments, keep appealing his eviction?
The tenant now claims that he owns the property and has produced a fraudulent and forged land contract. Should this matter be taken to criminal court?

Property line dispute/ survey incorrect
Purchased house 1&1/2 years ago on a land contract, the mortgage survey we were shown put shed,deck,propane tank on our property. We were assured as recently as 3 months ago that the survey was correct. Our neighbor approached us to ”trade” land, if we gave him a piece of property on the north side of our land, he would give us what ”we thought we owned”. We just had a new survey done, which will be certified, & we own no where near what the original survey shows. He is correct, the shed, good part of the deck & propane tank are indeed on his land. Where do we go from here? Thank you

Land contract Question. We bought a home under a land contract in 2006, the contract expired in Aug 2008. We still live in the home and paying monthly payments. We bought the home for 160k, now its worth around 115k. Can we walk away from this home without any pentlies? We are not in a position to refi now. What are our options?? We are meeting the sellers next week….Any ideas what we should do??
