Auto Purchase from private party
I’m giving a private party a certified check for their used vehicle. Before I get title they must go to their finance company and pay off their loan to get clear title. What should I do to ensure compliance with the terms of our contract? Is a simple bill of sale enough protection? Would it be adequate to have a notarized bill of sale? Thank you.

Theft?

Repairs were made the vehicle was transported to buyers residence in Salt Lake City Utah. Title was missing and seller promised to deliver. After no action by sellerby late 1/05, buyer paid MVA for duplicate title to be mailed to seller for signature and fowarded to buyer. Seller agreed to arrangement. Seller claimed to recieve title in early 2/05. Has never sent title to buyer to date. Now seller is demanding $1000 to deliver the title.

Can I lose my job?

Can I lose my job?
I am currently employed by a government agency. I was contacted by the employer in reference to a rental form that was provided to my landlord that was not completed by my employing agency with the correct information. The payroll person gave out my information in regards to my income without first contacting me for a signed release to the landlord. Now my employer is trying to have me fired can they do this?

probate car
Father died, car registered in Maryland, how do we go about giving it to grandson – all relative agree on this. Can the ‘heirs’ just sign a ‘bill of sale’ or does this have to have a Resident agent /personal Rep. signed by all of the heirs? Sister in MD wants us to sign these papers so she can take care of the car, but she is not supposed to be incharge of any other estate item. Are they necessary???
