There is a basement to the home I just rented. My landlords initially told me they would be removing all of their storage items and then renigged. They come over at all times without notice and enter the basement for access to their storage meanwhile, mine is unsecured. All agreements were oral, month to month lease.

can landlord move as roommate since
month to month is not willing to pay
the full rent, only her share. Also she
is not looking for anyone to share, she
wants me to find her room mates that
she aproves. What is her rights and
what is the landlords? Should I go
ahead and send her a 30 days notice?
Or should I let a lawyer do the entire
procedure? Thank you
I signed a rental/lease agreement that is basically a month to month tenancy.
I signed a rental/lease agreement that is basically a month to month tenancy. The owner/landlord DIDNOT sign this agreement. The property is supposed to be ready by Feb. 1st, but there is noway it will be habitable by then. I want my deposit back, since they have violated the terms of the lease. Is the lease even valid since the landlord didn’t even sign the rental/lease agreement? Thank you so much.

I have a month to month tenant, (1 year lease expired in Feb 2009). She gave me notice 3 days before September rent was due that she was moving. She told me to use the security deposit as last months rent and did not pay me for September. She asked me if I had saved the security deposit in a different account. I did not and I had to use it. It’s duplex and the front house was empty for 5 months. I am wondering if I had to put the security deposit in a different account – and if so how would this affect me if I take her to small claims court? She has 3 dogs and 2 cats and I know there will be some repairs that I will have to take care of.
