I have a tenant without lease (month to month), she is always complaining about everything. Can I send her a letter informing her that starting January 1st, 2010, I will only be responsible for roof repairs and structure, that I will not repair the air condition or any pluming repairs and give them the option to move if they want to. Last month and this month I have to paid more than $400.- in air condition inpections and cleaning the coil because they don’t use the air condition filter. Besides that they are selling fish in the property, they have fawls without authorization and a dog.

daughter lives in a studio apartment. This stuido was originally a garage. Owner of apartment complex is being told by the city to put the studio back to a garage. owner was made aware of this 09-2006, gave my daughter eviction notice 3-1-07. Do you know if under law a sixty day notice on a month to month lease is holdable? I am living in an unbearable situation of slum lord. Our building is infested with bed bugs, cockroaches, mice and unpleasant tenants. I’ve had two attempted break ins. The land lord also over charged me for late rent by 80 dollars.

Landlord overcharging me 1k+, put it on my credit, refuses to negotiate!!
I was at an apartment a year ago under a month to month lease. The management went to a new company while I was under my month to month lease. I left while this new company was in charge. This new company & landlord now is saying I owe as if I was on their lease. However, either way I put in my 30 days notice. The letter I sent to the manager of my 30 day notice has been acknowledged by the manager and I have a copy of the acknowledgement that they sent me that day. The only lease that was signed was the original lease, which was month to month . This new management are trying to say that I owe over 3 months rent, even though I gave my 30 days notice, that they acknowledged &replied to. Also it appears as if money has been added on, taken off, then added on several times. I have SEVERAL conflicting documents sent from this new management and each paper has a different figure. I owe the people nothing. I have ALL the documents incase I need a lawyer.
Because of the landlords stalling in retuning my phone calls (2 months) they have attached this to my credit! I do not owe them ANY of this extra money. They are UNWILLING to talk at all I’ve been calling the landlord and management everyday for 2 months is there something i can do
