Life Estate
We have a contract for deed to buy a 100 acre farm. The sellers sister has a life estate in the property
and she is unwilling to sign the deed. She has never
lived on the property or shared in debt or income
from the property. If we buy the property subject
to her life estate what problems might we have with her later on? The seller is keeping the house and
lot. There is no other residence on the farm.

She and her husband have paid mortgage payment since then.
I would like to find a way to have them take over complete
control, as taxes claim interest and so on.
I paid $20,000.00 down at time of purchase but I want nothing from them.The cost $87,000.00 and the balance now is $43,000.00. Thanks for any help

Recently i purchased a house on contract for deed (still making payments) The contract is in MY name only, his does not appear on it in anyway. It is my house, but he does live here. Can i legally kick him out or does he have any legal recourse? We live in kentucky…, no common law marriage here, right?

How can I type my own written defense for a civil summons over an easement on a piece of property that I am purchasing on land contract. To my knowledge there is no easement on record for the plaintiffs to use my drive.

purchased home on land contract. two years, making all payments. also paying insurance insurance. two were late – but paid with late fee.(not consecutive). Seller comes as says that he did not sell the house as a rental and wanted me to get a loan to pay him off. no specifications in contract. said because i was late on those two payments (last year) he can demand full payment. contract states that ”if two payments have failed to be made when due and payable that all installments may be due and payable. Can he force me to get a loan to pay him off or take back the house?
