month to month rental no lease
I have a verbal month to month lease on a house. I told him 2 weeks ago March would be my last month there. Now The landlord is threating to evict me tomorrow if I dont pay for March rent even though when I moved in i paid him first, last and security deposit. He claims if I don’t pay march’s rent by tomorrow he will call the cops and tell them he doesnt know me and doesnt know why my stuff is in the house and therefor kick me out. Can he do this, or does he still have to follow the laws for eviction since we dont have a written lease?

Can you be evicted for one noise complaint and having lights on to all hours of the night? My son has a month to month lease contract, has only been there 19 days and all of the sudden is told he must be out by the time the rent is due in a week and a few days!! Can they do this or don’t I have at least 30 days so I can find another place to live? Wouldn’t I be due my rent /or portion of rent back since I didn’t get a whole month?Plus my deposit? Landlord issues
I am having issues with my landlord who tells me one thing then does another. He has served me with 3 5 day rent notices in the last 2 months and 2 of them were for the same months. I paid one and had him sign it as such. We have a month to month rental and now he has served me with papers for a Forcible Entry and Detainer. There is more but only so many things i can write. Thanks for any help

I have a tenant that is on a month to month lease and did not provide 30 day WRITTEN notice that they are moving. Am I required to refund their security deposit? Where can I find documentation on this?
