our son bought a car, the loan is under his father name and he is the co-signer. the title was put under our son name. since he got married, he is deployed in iraq, his wife took all his money, and he is filling for divorce. she has the car and doesn’t want to give it back. he has made all payments and is paying the insurance. we have power of attorney.can we take the car?can we or he sell the car?

my husband gave power of attorney to his father years ago. We married last year. He works out of town. Our Tax person says I need power of attorney to handle our busness. Also if something happend to my husband, would everything of his have to–name removed–through his father? Do I need to get power of Attorney? I have been the stepmom of my husband’s child now for over 7 years. I live with the biological father. What do I have to do to become a legal guardian of this child. Father has legal and physical custody. The biological mother lost custody over 7 years ago due to drugs and only has supervised visits now and does not use them. She is homeless and has been for months. We cannot track down a physical address for her. How can I file for guardianship? Can a power of attorney work signed by the father?
