Power of Attorney
My fiance recently attempted to take her life and has voluntarily committed herself for treatment after being Baker acted at the hospital.
She will be in a PHP (Partial Hospitaliztion Program) for a minimum of ninety (90) days and has asked me to handle her affairs until her release.

The General Power of Attorney information for the state of Florida indicates: ”a natural “mentally” competent person (called the “Principal” or “Grantor”) to authorize someone else (called the “Agent” or “Attorney-In-Fact”) to act on his or her behalf.
Is Kelly considered to be mentally competent given the circumstances and her current treatment? Is there a special type of POA that we need to fill out other than the General POA?

General Power of Attorney
Can a mother who suffers from dementia, but has not been declared incompetent, after giving POA to one sibling, be assisted by another sibling in matters of banking, money management, etc. if this assistance is in the best interest of the mother, &/or is the non-POA sibling crossing a legal boundery in so doing? Can mother also still make decisions about her own money such as making a gift of money to someone without having to go through her POA?

Visitation
I have been divorced for 6 years and my decree was to state that my ex is to pay expenses for my son to visit him bc he is more than 100 miles away. However in reading it it states roundtrip airfare on a non change flight. I do not have the decree with me so I do not have the exact words. Anyway the airport my son would be leaving out of is more than two hours away from me and my ex does not pay child support. I do not have the gas money, not to mention the hotel money since the flight leaves at 7am, to spare. What choices do I have. What would happen if I cannot get him to the airport? I have asked him for the money for the expenses such as gas food and hotel and the minor fee and he says he does not have to pay my expenses. I know I told my lawyer to include that but from what I read it only states the plane stuff. I may not be reading it right. If you need more info on this please email me. I would also like to know if I have the right to not send him due to the fact that his step mom has a general power of attorney with durable provision for my ex bc he has Multiple Sclorosis, but she has hepititus C so I do not feel it would be safe to send him anyway. Please help me. By the way he is $9000 behind in child support.

My wife has a General Power of Attorney over me, and in the past two weeks has asked for a divorce, I know that in NC you have to be seperated for 1 year and 1 day before a seperation can be turned into a divorce, but what I am needing to know is if there is any way that I can revoke the power of attorney. My attempts to have her leave it with a family member of mine have been ignored. And I am in another state unable to get it myself. I am in the Army stationed at Fort Lewis WA. If you can please answer this I would greatly apperciate it, Thank you,
