Misrepresentation of CAR
On July 21, 2004 around 3:30 PM I purchased a car from an individual Matt. I found the ad for his car on Autotrader.com. The ad stated 1998 Acura Integra GSR 39000mi Black with Black Leather seats. Car is in great cond. Has tanaba sustec pro coilovers, rota slipstreams, apexi catback exhaust, car has lots more call for details. Matt 302-475-8505 302-753-4988 cell. $9400 obo. When I called him about the car on July 20, 2004 he told me the car was original with only 39000mi and he was selling it because he needed to buy a truck to pull his jet ski. I agreed to come look at and purchased the car. So on July 21, 2004 I went with a friend and bought the car. He told me he had a lien on the tittle so he would mail it to me once he pays the loan off. The interior was missing a lot of trim pieces which Matt said he would send via UPS in couple of days. So we did a Bill of Sale for the amount of $7800 and I took the car home to VA. The next day I was driving the car and tried using he horn but it didn’t work plus the car was blowing out white smoke. So after work I took it to a Mechanic and he told me that this is not the engine of a Acura Integra GSR. He said the engine was of a Honda Civic. I was appalled and came home called Matt’s mo

Hello I purchased a 1990 Nissan 240sx from a private seller. As I was driving home on the purchase date the vehicle broke down on the freeway and I had to be towed. I had a mechanic take a look at it and said that the engine was blown and that it was a bad engine from the start. I called them back that same night and the following day. The craigslist posting said that the engine had just been rebuilt. I called the previous owners back and they said that they would not return my money back. The posting shows a different shift knob than the one that the car came with so if they are willing to change that then maybe they messed with the engine parts in order to get as much back from the car as possible. I have the pink slip signed by the previous owner but not from me and proof of all papers. The only thing he has is the attached piece that came with the pink slip and we did not do a bill of sale. Can I sue for my money back?

I went to a carlot to buy a car, i was given a bill of sales form . a purchase order form, to sign. i was given the car to drive while the car was in the process of being financed. i picked the car up on the 19th of dec. i returned twice before i finally returned the car on jan 1th 2010.,doing all this time he could not get the car financed,but became angry when i gave him back the keys. i explained to him that i did`nt feel right to keep driving this brand new car and everything was`nt finalized. he made a statement to me that basically had already bought the car, and i couldnt return the car, he said to walk out , i would be playing russian roulet! i in terms did leave without the car. the next day he phoned me to say, that he had talked to his boss,and he stated that ui had bought the car ,because of driving the car as long as i did.he stated to me, that he could do a numerous of things to me, one garnish my check, but what he did want from me that day was a check for 19,000.00,he also stated that i could go after your mom,and my mom only signed a form to co sign if i needed help getting the car.itold him plplease do not mess with my mom, she was only trying to help me .i ended the civersation by saying i don`t have no money,he said i`ll call you back,but he hasn`t since that day jan 2nd,but i`ve been worried because i don`t know what he will do,or can do. i don`t have no money for court,my husband is unemployed,i handling everything alone! please help, e.g.

Have a signed contract from car dealer. He called and said the owner does not want to honor the price, it should have been higher. He altered his copies of the agreement. Mine is the original.

If you have a Bill of Sale/ Payment Agreement on a Vehicle sighed and Notarized! Made payments faithfully! on time! A did not brake the Agreement! Can the owner legally take that Vehicle from you?
