eviction notice Our landlord lost our property to foreclosure.

eviction notice
Our landlord lost our property to foreclosure. A 30 day notice to quit letter was posted on my door, meant for all the tenants here. I have been told by two different people that this notice is not legit because the attorney for the bank who bought this property drew it up, it is not a form from the court. Is this true? Does the 30 day notice to quit form need to be from the court in order for it to be considered legit?

30 day notice to move because the landlord is selling
We have a 1 year lease on our duplex which is not up until June of 2003. We were just given a 30 day notice to quit due to the landlord putting the duplex up for sale. Is this a violation of our lease? Is there any law in California about this that can give us more time before we have to move?

sister POA ed title to mothers home as fee simple no w keeping all
hi my future lister / buyer had a 1992 lawsuit on property profile report show that mother (now deceased, quitclaimed property to eldest daughter as joint tenant) had to sue for a judgment to have property put back in her name as sole owner. Now in 2005, 85 year old mother , now terminally ill, has same daughter coming around for first time in 10 years, controlling mothers care and other financial matters prior to mothers death. There are two other heirs who are sisters brother and one other sister. Now when myself (a realtor pull property abstract, I see a new recording before Aug. 9th death of mother) of a 7/5/2005 quitclaim into daughters name as sole owner done with POA which was obtained by daughter before judgment in 1992. Now comes daughter, serving 3 day notice to quit on brother and sister residing at property in order to care for their mother. She doesn’t have a rental agreement with other siblings. She now though is by her quitclaim the only heir to mothers property. This was the basis and expressed in judgment , for the 92 lawsuit. There is a holigraphic will that has been confiscated by said (evil) sister and she refuses to give copies.

Bank filing unlawful detainer
The property went to auction and was ”sold to the forclosing beneficiary” in ”as is” condition. The remaining tenants were given a 30 day notice to quit. A seperate notice was mailed either brfore or after Notice to Quit stating not to pay rent to the previous owner or anyone until further notice. Today one tenant found Notice of Unlawful Detainer (Eviction). It states that a complaint has been filed dated 7/28/08. The Notice was addressed to All Occupants but the named parties are the Bank vs the previous owner who no longer lives on the property. The bank is represented by a real estate company and the tenants have spoken to the real estate agent so they are aware of the tenants individual names. What do we, as actual tenants still residing on property, have to do since the named party is the previous owner? Should we expect to officially be served a summons? I have checked court calendar with case number but nothing is scheduled for or found for the case.
