Contest Power of Attorney
My brother has power of attorney over my 87 yr. old. mother. He is very ill and could die at any time from liver and kidney failure. He informed me he has set up a trust of my mother’s assets with our 22 yr old caretaker of four months in complete control of my mother’s care including health decisions. He is a chronic alcoholic and paranoid at this point. What is my recourse. He has lived with my mother for 15 years with no employment other than being her caretaker. What is my recourse?

My husband’s father passed away. He was married but they have been seperated now for several months. We are unsure where she is now. Are there any legal issues my husband and his brother will run into? We have a copy of the will (is this is the up to date will) and she is not listed. There is land involved and a few assets (checking acct, savings acct, vehicles). My husband is listed as power of attorney in the will.

My sons father died i was the beneficiary on the policy. We got divorced and his sister became power of attorney changed the beneficiary and will not give my child any money. What legal right does he have and is the life insurance policy a contract or part of the estate? Can I sue her for the money on behalf of my son ?
