Re: Power of Attorney
A power of attorney is not valid for a dead person. All a POA let’s a person do is take actions on behalf of a LIVING person. Upon death, a person’s WILL controls; if you do not have a WILL then your heirs will have to probate your estate according to the laws of intestacy.
