Possible Breech of Contract I entered into a contract with a fellow employee…

Possible Breech of Contract
I entered into a contract with a fellow employee for her to purchase a mobile home from me. She devised a contract for $400.00 for 7 years and I signed my copy and she signed hers, only we did not swap contracts. She is now trying to get out of the contract and move elsewhere. Can she do this without breeching our contract? Does a verbal contract have any power in a court of law?

Can a creditor refuse payment?

Can a creditor refuse payment?
I now handle my mother’s finances. She has a history of unpaid dues to her mobile home association. The property is up for sheriff sale in October. I sent a partial payment towards the debt owed on her behalf and it was returned to me with a letter stating no payment other than in full will be accepted. Is this legal?
Thank you for your help.

Request & Writ for Garnishment (Income Tax Refund/Credit) In September of 2008,…

Request & Writ for Garnishment (Income Tax Refund/Credit)
In September of 2008, a judge ruled in our favor for an ”order regarding installment paymnets”-(Form MC 15a) we are to pay $50 on the 15th of each month and the garnishment issued on my husbands pay was suspended. Last week we received a Request & Writ for Garnishement for Income Tax; from the same plaintiff in the original garnishment; the date of issue was back in August of 2008. We never received a copy of the writ w/in the mandated 7 days and we are already in an installment agreement with them; so how can they request an additionial garnishment? Are they not going against the judges’ order? Please assist and advise. This was for a 1985 mobile home returned to Standard Federal (Now Charter One) back in 2000 and they are stilling requesting over $30,000.00 be paid back, original loan was for only $15,000.00 back in 1989 and was paid on for several years prior to the repossesion of the mobile home. We were never notified of the judgement until several years ago. If you have any suggestions We’d be very grateful for any and all your help. Thank you!

Was told I owe taxes on a home that I thought was going to be foreclosed on….
I was told they were foreclosing on my manufactured home. The land it was on had been sold and I moved thinking they would go get it to sell it…since it’s a mobile home. It dropped off my credit so I assumed that the people that bought the land bought it somehow before the foreclosure. Now I’m getting a letter in the mail from an attorney demanding taxes. Did a little research and the mortgage company went bankrupt and just left the house there. The new land owners’ son has been living in it. I don’t know what to do…it’s still listed as mine on the title but I have NO clue what to do. I don’t want to end up with a judgment against me for the taxes. I haven’t lived there for about 6-7 years. I don’t want to call the current ”resident” because I’m afraid they’ll file some kind of abandonment and still leave me with the taxes. Can I ”evict” him and sell it? If so what are the chances the new landowner will sue me for land rental? Ugh…this is my typical bad luck. Thanks for any advice…your time is appreciated.
