Mobile Home Purchase
My question is concerning a used mobile home that I purchased on a 3yr payment plan from the same mobile home park that I rent a pad from, also were the home resides. Now that I have payed in full for the said mobile home. I have made several request in writing, The seller has failed to produce a title. I have had a buyer since the day I payed off my note but have been unable to sell without a title, all along I am being charged for pad rent.Is there any legal action I can take to recover my loss if they cannot produce a title, such as pad rent that I must pay due to not being able to sell, and or the purchase amount plus interest. (I dont think they have a title at all) What can I do??

Type your question here…My Husband and I would like to seek temporary custody of our 2 year old Grandson., Our son was recently incarcerated for criminal domestic violence and making moonshine in his kitchen. Our Grandson stays with us 95% of the time. They have made numerous decisions that would question there parenting skills. I mean making moonshine which is highly flammable in a small kitchen of a mobile home with a 2 year old present? They have also had there power turnedf off numerous times and did not tell us and stayed in 28 degree temps with no heat. My son has drove stone drunk with our Grandson and his wife in the car and she thinks this is ok. Many other incidents TOO numerous ti list. We have kept very detailed documentation of all of this. They get Food stamps and WIC but our Grandson never sees any of this. We buy all of his food and clothing. Would we have a strong case for custody?

Problem with land purchase
Bought 10 acres in 1994, mobile home burned in 1996, told sellers we needed another copy of contract several times by phone and mail, never got one. Sellers were deceased by 1997, taxes stopped getting paid on land, which $10 of our payments were for taxes. Land showed up in newspaper delinquent tax properties about to be turned over to land commissioner for sale. We paid the back taxes, and notified seller’s children. Called again in 1998 for copy of contract, was told lawyer’s had all paperwork and I couldn’t get it. That was the last contact had with them. Paid through the end of 1999 and stopped. Still heard nothing. Went to court house, found property listed as part of 80 acre tract. Called attorney, told they don’t have my contract or any information on us. Highway is coming shortly, have lived here 12 years, have paid taxes since I believe 1996 except for ’02 and ’03 when the attorney for his estate paid them. We have lived here with no contact with the seller’s children since 1998 when I contacted them, even when payments stopped seven years ago they did not contact us. Hired lawyer Dec 05 who hasn’t helped. Cannot afford another attorney, appraiser for highway dept, coming soon and money will go to seller’s.

If my husband passed away in the future, do I have to sell the house or hire the layer to keep the house??
