Purchase Agreement
I signed a purchase agreement on a mobile home. Husband did not. It has both names on the form to be signed by plus I initialed where it has earnest money on it. We put down $15,000.00. Have I messed up. We live in Va. but the trailer we want to buy is in tennessee. We found out after the fact that there will probably be extra costs that were listed on back of form I did not see. What can I do to rectify this situation.

Mobile Home Tenant Law
If I purchase a mobile home in a mobile home park in California, and I am accepted by park’s back ground check, etc., does the park have the legal right to dictate who I have as a roomate? I have a friend who has a sex offender status who would like to share my home. He is on the Natl Registry, but not considered high-risk.

I let my neighbor buy a piece of my property to put a mobile home on. Before she died she showed me her will which stated the land would be returned to me after her death. The rest was to be sold and divided among her 6 adult children. It has been 6 months and no-one in the family has gone to a lawyer to start probate. There was an executor named, he declined and another sibling took over. All the belongings are gone, and now one of the siblings has moved into the home. How do I get to the next step. The siblings know of the will.It appears that the only asset left is the mobile home which is declining rapidly.
My daughter moved into a mobile home a year ago.
My daughter moved into a mobile home a year ago. There had been roaches before she moved in and the managment had it sprayed.
There were other small problems also and the managment still hasn’t taken care of these some of the problems until now.
The mobile home still has roach problems and even though my daughter has called to get her home sprayed, several times, the office blames the bug company for not coming out. The roaches are now in the yard and it seems the problem is getting worst.
One of the small problems when they moved in were two weak spots in the flooring. One in the kitchen and one in the master bathroom. My daughter has continued to ask them fix it, along with the other minor problems but nothing has gotten done.
My daughter’s boyfriend has gone through the kitchen hole. The management has now told my daughter that in order to fix the weak flooring and the hole, they will have to move out and has offered them another mobile home that is a lower quality trailer that has been treated for mold and I guess the door can be popped open with a screw driver.
The management has said that this trailer is the only thing open. My daughter has said it is in the old part of the mobile park and isn’t too inviting and alot smaller of a trailer. Her trailer is a double wide.
What can they do. Their lease is up in October.
Thank you for your time.

Home sale gone south
Three years ago I sold a mobile home with property. Contract was drawn with lawyer office and real estate agent. The contract was for three years approx. $700.00 monthly payment and a $70,000.00 final payoff at end of three years. Now the buyer cannot get financing and wants to walk away. The buyers name is on the Bond for title with mine. What course of action can I take. I have been told that a judge will not hold the buyer responsible if I pursue legal action. If the house goes into foreclosure who will be held responsible? What should I do, legal action or cut my loses?
