ownership of property after death
My husband died in 1995 and the mobile home I live in is in both of our names but the property it is on is in his name. I would like to sell both and they are both paid for. What do I need to do to get the property in my name. We were married 32 years.
Getting a Mobile Home Title from the Lienholder The quick and dirty of it.
Getting a Mobile Home Title from the Lienholder
The quick and dirty of it.
My parents declared bankruptcy approx. 8 years ago, the mobile home they had was never repossed, gone after etc., and no further bills came. I have been living in it for 7 years. I now need to move and would like to get the title for it so I can sell it, or worse case scenario get out of there without it coming after me or my mother. My mother is the registered owner, but not legal owner on the title.
The company that held the lien is now out of business, but may have been bought out by another company and it doesn’t show on the title search.
Any input on how I can get this title from whomever has it now? The mobile home needs a ton of work so I am not thinking that it would be disputed as it isn’t the type of thing a bank or mortgage lender would want on the books.
Thanks!!

Selling a mobile home
My friend has a mobile home that he owns he is 81 Years old. Due to his age and health he has giving me full power of attorney to handle this for him. Every time we have someone to buy this mobile home the owner of the park denies them with a credit check. The current guy that wants to buy it I know has perfict credit and she has not even checked him out the only reason she will give me is that she does not him to own it. I have told her that starting next month the mobile home will be in my name so that i will be making the space rent payment she told me that she will not allow me to make the payment. she has stated the she reather wait for my friend to die and put a lien on the mobile home rather than himself nor myself be able to sell it. I would like to know what right does this lady have to do this she ownes the land not the property.

Out of Curiosity
Question. My grandmother passed away March 5, 2004 leaving behind a will that was found by my father. He tells me that the will was not signed by my grandmother so he said that he needed to get it forged so that the property and funds will not be in the states hands. My grandmother owned adouble-wide mobile home valued at 70,000k plus a large checking account. My dad owes child support towards me for over 15 years, and nothing.I just backed away because that against the law for forgery.Ireally could use some help over this situation. willindealin@aol.com
