Living Will
Living Will was prepared in N.J.
Now reside in CA
Article in newspaper advises that a Living Will is not applicable in CA but that a ”Advance Health Care Directive” is.
Is my Living Will prepared in N.J. still legal and binding now that I reside in CA. ?
Thank you!

An experienced family law lawyer should not comment upon a document without first reviewing the document. In a general sense, now that you reside in california you are probably better off having a new document prepared by a California Lawyer who understands applicable California laws.
For a specific opinion regarding your individual circumstances, I suggest that you consult with an experienced family law lawyer. Experience is not expensive, it’s priceless!
