Landlord Tenant
Can a property owner disposed/threw out all of all my furniture and personal belongings from my residence. I was never given a verbal or written notice before he threw my furniture away. I did not have a lease or rental agreement with the property owner. I gifted the house to the property owner and lived at the residence rent free.
Re: Landlord Tenant
In order to be evicted, assuming you were actually a tenant, the landlord must file a dispossessory with the court and obtain a writ which allows him to physically remove you from the property. Otherwise, it is wrongful eviction and you would probably have a case against the landlord.
