(a) It may be dfficult for you to establish payment of rent without receipt.
(b) You may enter into a fresh agreement with the original owner.
(c) You should always obtain a receipt against any payment you make; OR else make the payment by an Account Payees Crossed cheque only.
(d) You may consider filing a suit against the father and the daughter and start depositing the rent in Court;
(e) or else you may wait for any one of them to file a case of eviction against you; and in that case you may take your defence and deposit the rent in court.
