finance auditing
My father was ill and needed me to get all of his financial statements and insurance policies, my brother would not give them to me. My father passed away and right after my Mother passed away , the whole time I was still trying to get these things and to see where they stood financially so that I could take care of my Fathers funeral, I still could not get them from my brother he told me he could not find them, in the meantime he was buying things left and right, he is 45 years old and has not worked for over ten years. When my mom got ill she started receiving my Dad’s pension that I was suppposed to put in a seperate account away from my brothers and monthly bank the checks for her, well that never happened either. I am co-trustee along with my brother in thier living will. I would like to get an audit from at least three months before my father died and at least three months after my mother died, ( they died within 7 months of each other)Is there anyway this can be done? Because my father told me to watch out for their personal possessions because my Mom would’nt be able to. Lot of there things dissappeared and I would like to know what happened to the all money that was in the bank and why I couldn’t get information. SOS

living wills
My husband has 2 children from a
previous marriage, and I have a niece
and nephews I’d like to include as a
beneficiary of our estate. I’d also like
to avoid inheritance tax for my niece
and nephews. His children and my
nice are grown, and the nephews are
under 10. Do I need a will and a
trust? Do we need 2 separate wills
and trusts, or can one work?
Thank You,
Denise

power of attorney
When setting up durable power of attorney for a married couple, should there be two forms prepared, one for each? And should they name each other as primary agent with someone else (e.g. adult children) to be secondary agent?
