how do i stop this
What do i need to do to stop a durable power of attorney submitted by my sister, who is currently using it to steal money out of my mothers bank account and she has created anornous amounts of credit card bills. She has taken advantage of this and i need to get it stopped. My mother is in her late 70’s and she forgets things, but she would never allow this to happen. I have called the police and they can not do anything, can you help me by stopping showing me how to stop this power of attortney, my mother lives with me and i have her 100% percent cooperation.
Thanks

Durable Power of Attorney vs Power of Attorney
What is the difference between a Durable Power of Attorney and a Power of Attorney? Is a Durable Power of Attorney for medical issues only? Are they basically the same? My dad is almost 90 years old and is preoccupied with wills and making preparations for his passing. He is also on a budget, so one document that will cover all issues would be preferable.
Thanks Much!

conservatorship guardianship
My fatherinlaw is in an alzheimer’s unit. My brotherinlaw had durable power of attorney before putting his father in the nursing home. Both father and son were on the checking account so that brother could pay the nursing home monthly rent. There is no other property.Just monthly social security that pays the home. My brotherinlaw died suddenly without putting anyone else on the checking account. Can my husband fill out and file the conservatorship paperwork ourselves without an attorney and what is the proceedure?
