Car
My father took a car back to the car dealership that we purchased the car from. My brother’s name is on the bill of sale as buyer, and I am on the bill of sale as co-buyer. My father was upset when he took the car to them without giving thought of what it would do to our credit. I went to get the car, and was told that I could not get the car because the insurance had to be in my brother’s name instead of my name. The dealership would not give me the car. The insurance on the car is in my name (the co-buyer) instead of my brother’s name. He received a DUI and his name was dropped from the insurance. How can I legally get my car back?

end of relationship questions
My girlfriend recently broke up with me. She is working on moving out but still has a few things(table and bookshelves) that need a truck to move. She has not taken her name off the lease. Wondering if she is to pay rent legally since her name is on the lease.
I also bought her some jewelry, and heard that since she broke up with me the jewelry is legally mine even though I gave it to her as a gift. Just wondering if this is true or if it is legally hers since it was a gift, even though the card they were purchased under was under my name.
Also, we got a bedroom furniture set in her name, but she doesn’t want it anymore, so I agreed to take over payments as long as I can get a bill of sale. With that bill of sale is there anyway she would be legally able to come get the furniture stating it is in her name? Or would that bill of sale protect me from that.
Also, this was the only area of law that seemed to be where this would fit.

traded property
my 14 year old son traded a 2002 k x 85 dirt bike for a 1997 yamaha blaster got it home and didn’t run right only got to ride it for about 30 minutes. I called the guy told him the situation and he said he would come get it. He did now he’s saying it’s going to cost me 700.00 to fix this 4-wheeler. the bill of sale says 1 1997 yamaha blaster trade even for 1 2002 k-x85 + labor and lawn care & painting will work off balance. this does not say as is. Is this something i could take to small claims court?

Big Mess!
I bought a car about a year ago for my boyfriend. I think I drove it once. However, the car stayed in my name. My BF traded the car off last week. He signed my name to the title and bill of sale. He traded for another car, car parts, and $500. He did not tell me beforehand what he was doing. Well, the guy has not brought the car parts nor has he shown up with the first installment of the $500. What is my recourse. I don’t want to get my bf in trouble, but I didn’t sign the title, bill or sale, or even authorize the transaction. Can I get put on the title as a lien holder (the bill of sale states that he has to pay me the $500) or should I just call the DMV and tell them my name was forged on the title?
