My daughter is being taken to court, because the bank says she owes them $$ and the car. She had signed in front of a notary person a Bill of Sale papers, and relieving her rights to a car, which her at the time boyfriend was going to take ownnership of after the papers had been signed. She signed and now she’s paying the price.

car dispute
I purchased a car from my aunt to take over payments. I have made 17 monthly payments by check and gave her 300 deposit. I have just moved to california and need to get my car registered here. When I called my aunt she said I owe her more money than we agreed and said I have been late on my payments. I have a bill of sale stating that i am purchasing the car for 5,000 and I am making payments and will have the car insured with full coverage at all times. I have filled my obligation. She will not assist me and says i owe her more than what we have agreed. What do I do. My tabs are expired this month.

Sold a car
My husband, just recently, was deployed over seas. His Car (Kia sportage 2002) was titled in the state of West Virginia, but he had to go to Las Vegas to meet with his Army Unit. While there he sold his car to a ”friend”. He wrote out a bill of sale but did not recieve a copy of it. Also the title was signed over to the man he sold the car to. He was told by the man that he only had 1500 dollars of the 3300 we were asking and he said he would send 700 within a week, and 1100 by august 1st. This all happened July 1st, 2006. I have not recieved a penny, and when I try to contact him he will not return my calls. Is there anything that can be done, or becuase we do not have a copy of the bill of sale, are we out of luck?
