I sold a car in 2001, but didn’t submit a Vehicle Transfer form as I didn’t know that existed. I am now being called about a towing bill in 2008. Apparently, the new owner never made the title transfer. I cannot locate the bill of sale. What are my options?

  1. give the creditor the name etc of the buyer…but you owe nothing…however, they may try to collect…and you should have some proof you sold the car..check etc..
