No pets
My question is this: If I am renting and my rental agreement does NOT include a ”no pet clause”, can the landlord, after having the pet for years, change his/her mind and tell the tenants that they have to remove the pet, MOVE, or be evicted?
Re: No pets
If there is no clause in the lease precluding tenants from owning pets, he doesn’t have a great basis for evicting anyone.

Yes, but he must still comply with the lease and the requirements for notice.
