durable power of attorney
My mother and her partner have been together for 27 years. My mother needs to access his accounts to pay for his care. She does not have durable power of attorney and he is not capable of signing the document. What can she do?
Re: durable power of attorney
She will have to petition the court to have her appointed as his guardian.
