Security deposit
Here is the question, I moved into a condo in mid august, dealt with a landlord who was out of town at the time. We still have to this date not signed any paperwork, she sent me the rental agreement on 9/3, 3 weeks after I moved in. She is saying that I verbally agreed to pay rent from the 1st to the 1st of every month which I did not. I wanted to go from the 12th to the 12th, she is not budging and I am leaving. Since there is no signed papers between us I believe I am entitled to my deposit back. What can I expect?
Re: Security deposit
Give 15 days notice before you move out. You shjould get your security drposit back. Take poictures before yu leave to prove the condition of the apartment so there is no claim later that you damaged things.

Re: Security deposit
Since you have no lease, you must give your landlord 15 day’s notice prior to the end of the month before you move out. Once you do that, though, your landlord should return your deposit.
