Son’s divorce and mother has power of attorney.
My son is in the marines. He filed is on divorce in Kansas and they have a separation agreement done. My guestion is I have power of attorney. Can i go to court for him and represent him at the final court hearing.

It would depend upon the language in the Power of Attorney and whether or not the POA was properly executed. Assuming both of the above, it should not be a problem. As a practical matter, you may want to contact the judge’s clerk to let them know the situation so that they are not surprised at the hearing.
In addition, if you have reached a Separation Agreement, many counties do not require both parties to be in attendance and only require one of the parties to answer the necessary jurisdictional questions for the court. Another alternative would be to submit the divorce via affidavit. Best of luck.
