Re: notice to quit
NY State has very stricty guidelines that must be followed to a tee when seeking the vacature of a tenant. Proper notices must be served in a specific manner and if they don’t comply an action for summary proceeding of eviction must be initiated with the county court. It is highly reccomended to have legal representation in these matters as one slight technical mistake can easily cause you to have to start anew and lose months at a time. This area of law is our specialty, however, we would need some more information before making a complete and proper determination. You are welcome to contact us for a free consultation.
